MTM Business Systems provides CAD Drawings to design filing systems when presenting space planning proposals to best show customers how a filing system works in their space. Drawings are available to architect and design firms working with MTM Business Systems on projects involving filing systems.

We come across a few standard size rooms when we go out and do jobs. For the most common sized rooms we come across we have done CAD drawings to show you a high density filing system in those spaces. We have 18 different room sizes that are letter and legal size drawings and we converted them to Macromedia Flash movies. The drawings lost their scalability when they were converted over to Flash but the original dimensions of the high density system is given on the movie. On each drawing you will find the size of the shelves, the Nominal and Usable Linear Filing Inches (L.F.I.) that each system allows, how many 4 drawer files that system would be equal to, the Manufacturer's Retail Price, an estimated freight price, and then a list price. Note on prices: Installation is not quoted in these prices as every location in the US has different conditions. Thus call us and we can then give you three ways to get this installed:

Each CAD drawing is shown from a top view with the handle at the bottom. The handles in each movie do not rotate. The walls of each CAD drawing are at the top and on the left hand side of the drawings. Each movable carriage has a dotted line through the center of it. The carriages that do not move have a diagonal line from the bottom left corner to the upper right corner. Beneath the carriages are the tracks and the ramp.
